Harry Potter fans of all ages gathered in the Peak District town of Wirksworth on Sunday 4th October 2026 for a day of magical activities. It was a wonderful day full of smiling wizarding faces, young and old. We celebrated our love of the wizarding world, sharing our knowledge and passion for the stories and our creativity with fantastic costumes and displays.

Building on the success of previous years, the day has become the largest independent Harry Potter fan event in the UK - run by fans, for fans.

As well as a day of fun, the event raises funds for good causes. Wizarding Day has previously raised a grand total of £9,000 for Wirksworth Colts Football Club, the Josh Stockell Community Skatepark, the Fire Fighters Charity, Aquabox and the Wirksworth Pre-School Group.
